ตามที่คณะรัฐมนตรีได้มีมติเห็นชอบมาตรการสนับสนุนการระดมทุนผ่านทรัสต์เพื่อการลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ที่มีข้อกำหนดในการซื้อทรัพย์สินคืน (REIT buy-back) โดยยกเว้นภาษีเงินได้นิติบุคคล ภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม ภาษี

เมื่อสถานการณ์ดีขึ้นได้ หรือที่เรียกว่า REIT buy-back โดยมีผลใช้บังคับเมื่อวันที่ 1 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 นั้นเพื่อเพิ่มความยืดหยุ่นในการระดมทุนผ่าน REIT buy-back ก.ล.ต. จึงได้มีการปรับปรุงหลักเกณฑ์ให้ครอบคลุม
