สำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ (ก.ล.ต.) มีแนวคิดออกหลักเกณฑ์เพื่อรองรับการออกและเสนอขาย Transition Bond และ Thailand Amber Bond เพื่อเป็นทางเลือกให้กับผู้ออกตราสารหนี้ในการระดมทุน
เพื่อยกระดับการเปิดเผยข้อมูลและเพิ่มทางเลือกให้กับผู้ระดมทุน ในการออกผลิตภัณฑ์ ESG Bond รูปแบบใหม่ ๆ รวมถึงเพิ่มทางเลือกให้กับผู้ลงทุนในตลาดทุน โดยยังคงหลักการคุ้มครองผู้ลงทุนในระดับที่เหมาะสม
